| For almost 100 years, the
main role of the PIAA has been to provide opportunities for
students to participate in interscholastic athletics in an
environment that fosters sportsmanship, fair play and social,
emotional and academic growth. The
District IV Committee subscribes to that philosophy and is
dedicated to ensuring that all students are able to enjoy the
many benefits of participating in athletic programs on a fair
and equitable basis. Our goal is to provide uniform
standards through the policies and regulations adopted by PIAA
and District IV.
